Bridgette Hobartdidn't take long to gather quite a following on her unprecedented 11-stage 167-mileNazareth College Finger Lakes Challenge (or The 5 Majors & The 6 Minors Swimming for a Cause).

After her first 15-miler across Canandaigua Lake on July 11th, Hobart finished her second swim across Keuka Lake yesterday in her attempt to swim across all 11 New York Finger Lakes.

"Back from lake 2 and had a blast and received great coverage. We had fab time with our crews. I was so thrilled to see so much local support. It really helps energize you. My crew said over 100 people came up to us along our 19.8-mile journey to root us on. Folks followed the tracker and met us at the finish too. Just a super fun swim, again. On to Skaneateles Lake this weekend," said the New Jersey-based Triple Crown swimmer. "The goal is to promote Nazareth with a focus on the new Wellness and Rehabilitation Institute which benefits the Rochester/Finger Lake communities."

The first-time event is separated into two challenges: the Majors and the Minors. The Majors includes the lakes over 11 miles in distance, ranging from 15.5 to 38 miles in Canandaigua, Keuka, and Skaneateles in July and 38-mile Cayuga Lake and 38-mile Seneca Lake in August.

The 6 Minors includes the lakes under 11 miles that she will cross over the weekends in September. Her schedule is as follows:

Stage 2 - Keuka - July 18th, 19.8 miles [COMPLETED]
