Night swimming can be disorienting, but also liberating.
With the depths dark and the air crisp, it seems that every sense is alive. The splash of the arms seems louder, the movement of the water seems to be felt by nearly every pore in the body. Any illumination immediately attracts the eye against the backdrop of darkness as your mind is going all-out processing every bit of available information.
