Benoît Lecomte is pushing hard to prepare for The Longest Swim: mentally, physically, logistically, and on Indiegogo.
"I've been pouring my life into the project. We just published our crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo," writes Lecomte. "We need all the support we can get to make it a success. I’ll be swimming from Tokyo to San Francisco in the name of sustainability awareness, starting in late September 2015.."

We are at a pivot point. We need to raise US$130,000 to bridge our budget gap. We have come a long way. We have a team, a support boat, many of the necessary equipment and amazing research and advocate partners. One of them is the actor Mark Ruffalo and his organization Water Defense.
