WATER POLO USA Women Announce World Cup Qualifier Roster


 

Irvine, CA - April 3 - USA Water Polo Women's Senior National Team head coach Adam Krikorian has announced the roster that will travel to Europe for the 2023 World Aquatics Women's World Cup qualifiers next week. The first round of women's qualifiers takes place from April 11-13 in Rotterdam, Netherlands while the second round is set for April 19-21 in Athens, Greece.

These tournaments act as qualifiers in the lead up to the World Aquatics World Cup Finals that take place from June 23-25 at Long Beach City College in Long Beach, CA. As hosts of the World Cup Finals, Team USA has already qualified for the competition in Long Beach but will have a great chance to prepare by playing some of the best teams in the world. The action begins Tuesday, April 11 when Team USA opens play against Spain at 5:00am pacific time. The United States will also meet China and Italy. Live streaming is expected to be available on the World Aquatics YouTube page and live stats for the tournament are expected to be accessible by clicking here.
