Axel Reymond is the new European Champion in the 25 km openwater.
His final time was 4:59:18,8 h. After having swum half the 25km distance, the
french swimmer, along with the silver medal winner Evgenii Drattcev, distanced
themselves from the rest of their competitors. At the finish line of the race, the two rivals had
a time gap of 8 minutes from Edoardo Stochino (ITA)
