Am Sonntag, den 10. November fand in Redange der 1. Teil der Avenir-Wettkämpfe für die hoffnungsvollsten Nachwuchsschwimmer der FLNS statt. Sieben Staffel- und zwei Einzelrennen über 50 Meter Rücken und 100 Meter Lagen standen für Mädchen und Jungen im Alter von acht bis zwölf Jahren auf dem Programm. 150 Athleten aus acht Luxemburger Vereinen hatten 147 Einzel- und 92 Staffelmeldungen abgegeben.
In der Kategorie Poussins gewann die 1. Mannschaft des Swimming Luxembourg (5.58,2) vor dem Team aus Differdingen (6:22,2) und der 2. Mannschaft des SL (6:23,9).
Bei den Pupilles siegte ebenfalls die 1. Mannschaft des Swimming Luxembourg (7:40,4) vor der 1. Mannschaft des SC "le Dauphin" Ettelbrück (8:01,2) und dem Team SL 2 (8:04,4)
Die Coupe de l´Avenir über 10x25m Freistil sicherte sich die 1. Mannschaft des SL in 2.43,03 min in der Besetzung Anton Fedoseev, Nina Hric, Alp Behlil, Leni Leonard, Teodora Grujic-Martins, Amelie Scholer, Alexander Kidd, Vasco Carneiro, Emma Barthel und Philippe Weyland.
Die Einzelstrecke über 50m Rücken bei den Poussins gewann Mira Pavelek vom Swimming Luxembourg (44,08), die weiteren Plätze belegten die Vereinskolleginnen Leni Leonard (45,30) und Emma Barthel (45,35). Bei den Jungen siegte Inaki Reinesch (SCD 40,67) vor Stafano Valentini (SCM 41,03) und Alexander Kidd (SL 42,06).
Die 100 Meter Lagen in der Kategorie Pupilles bei den Mädchen sicherte sich Amelie Scholer vom SL in 1:17,64 die Goldmedaille, gefolgt von Joyce Bleses (SCDE) in 1:18,36 und Nina Hric vom SL in 1:19,90. Der Sieger bei den Jungs heißt Albert Chaussard (CNDu 1:13,82), Zweiter wurde Anton Fedoseev (SL 1:13,90), Rang drei belegte Louis Eschette (CNW 1:20,35).
