Introducing Swimming at Home by Swimming New Zealand

No pool? No problem!
Whilst we stay at home during this lockdown period, we must keep active! Swimming New Zealand introduces Swimming at Home; a campaign to keep the swimming community connected and supported during this unpredictable time.
The pools may be closed but we are all in this together! #NoPoolNoProblem
It is without a doubt, presently, incredibly stressful times. Your mental health is equally as important as your physical health and we must try to manage our stress as much we possibly can. Below are some tips on looking after yourself:

NUTRITION TIPS
Good hygiene is at the top of everyone’s priority, as it should be but there are also some easy daily food habits that can be practised to help strengthen and maintain your immune system. Here are some key nutrients and foods which will support your immune function and help to keep you as healthy and as strong as possible!

Below are some workouts you can easily do at home. If your swimming club has its own work out programmes, let us know!
We would love to feature a different club each week to share what everyone has been up to and how they are getting on with Swimming at Home. We are all one big swimming community after all and we're all in this together!
