SWIMMING BY THE POSTCARDS PROJECT IN COPACABANA SEA

Swimming in the sea is already a tradition in the city of Rio de Janeiro and for those who are passionate about swimming, station 6, in the corner of Copacabana Beach, is a great refuge for swimming in the open waters of the wonderful City.

Certainly there are many attractions that fascinate triathletes and swimming lovers along the coastline with four kilometers of sand and a huge boardwalk whose mosaic was inspired by the Praça do Rocio in Lisbon and that reminds the balance of the waves at sea.

In the water, in addition to swimming, stand-up, canoeing, surfing and Hawaiian canoe has also gained strength with the growing number of people interested in the art of exercising.

For Francismar Siviero, master swimmer of the Swimming by Postcards Project, “Copacabana which is considered one of the most famous beaches in our country, it is an ideal place to practice various types of water sports. The water marathon is a very interesting sport to be practiced and also watched. Watch athletes swimming is an unforgettable scene ”.

Swimming by  Postcards project seeks to unite sport and ecological awareness with its open water activities. Find out how to participate and support this project on the website francisswim.com.br
