SwimChallenge is an amazing competition, in the beautiful Cascais region, and we are ready to help you enjoying the time in our town.

With us, you will have the opportunity to have a great preparation to the race, with swiming trainings and tours to visit the region.

The swimming training will be with the international swimmer Miguel Arrobas, having in is experience the Channel Cross, Gribraltar Cross, Swim around Manhanttan Island, and others.

We have 3 option, if you are travelling alone or with family or firends:

Greece beats Serbia for the gold in Kuwait City of the FINA World Men’s Junior Water Polo Championships

The team of Greece won the gold medal of the 2019 edition of the FINA World Men’s Junior Water Polo Championships, staged between December 12-20 in Kuwait City (KUW). In the decisive game, the Hellenic team defeated the Serbian squad by 6-4, thus revalidating the 2017 world crown. In the bronze-medal match, Italy beat Croatia by 9-6.
The winners of the tournament started the final in the best possible way, managing a 2-0 advantage in the first quarter. This proved decisive throughout the match, as the remaining three periods were perfectly balanced (1-1, 0-0 and 3-3).
Things were also thrilling between Italy and Croatia. The encounter registered a tie at halftime (3-3), but Italians then made the difference in the third (3-1) and fourth quarter (3-2).
In the game deciding the fifth place, Spain comfortably triumphed against Montenegro, prevailing with a final 14-8. The team of USA ensured the seventh position in the tournament, beating Japan by 19-14.
Twenty teams from the five continents took part in the nine-day tournament, with three out of the four semi-finalists dominating the preliminaries of the competition. In Group A, Serbia controlled operations, with four wins in all four matches played. Spain (in Group B), Italy (Group C) and Greece (Group D) managed the same feat, concluding their preliminary games undefeated. For the second places in each of the groups, Croatia (A), Hungary (B), United States (C) and Australia (D) also confirmed their credentials, all going into the next stage of the tournament with three wins and one loss each.
In the last edition of the championships, held in 2017 in Belgrade (SRB), the medals went to Greece (gold), Croatia (silver) and Serbia (bronze).

WATER POLO USA Women Finish 2019 Undefeated With Holiday Cup Title In Princeton

Princeton, NJ - December 21 - The USA Water Polo Women's National Team finished 2019 undefeated defeating the Netherlands 12-6 to claim the 2019 Holiday Cup title. Team USA ends 2019 with a 37-0 record and runs their win streak to 68 straight games. Kiley Neushul (Isla Vista, CA/Stanford/NYAC) scored four goals to lead the offense while Ashleigh Johnson (Miami, FL/Princeton/NYAC) added 12 saves in net in a return to her college pool at Princeton University. In the third place match it was Russia defeating Italy 14-9 for their second straight victory. After the two teams combined for nearly 50 goals on Tuesday night in a 23-22 shootout win for Team USA, the title match started off much slower. Team USA defense bottled up the efforts of the Netherlands as they allowed just one goal in the first half on the way to an 8-1 lead. Neushul, Alys Williams (Huntington Beach, CA/UCLA/Huntington Beach WPF), Maddie Musselman (Newport Beach, CA/UCLA/CdM Aquatics) and Makenzie Fischer (Laguna Beach, CA/Stanford/SET) powered Team USA to a 4-0 lead after one.
In the second quarter Neushul scored the first two of the quarter for a 6-0 lead. After the Netherlands broke through with their first goal, Musselman scored two of the next three for a 9-1 lead with 3:27 to play in the third. The Netherlands looked to rally and scored four of the next to five to climb within five at 10-5 with 4:31 to play. Fischer and Neushul would make sure things got no closer as they added goals to close out the 12-6 win.
Team USA went 2/5 on power plays with no penalties attempted while the Netherlands went 0/9 on power plays and 1/2 on penalties.
Elvina Karimova and Anastasia Fedotova scored three goals each in pacing Russia to the 14-9 win over Italy.
The final standings for the 2019 Holiday Cup saw Team USA in first, Netherlands in second, Russia in third, Italy in fourth and Canada in fifth.
