USA
Swimming, the national governing body for the sport of swimming, today
announced the dates for its domestic competitions for the 2024 calendar year.
Some locations are still being finalized and will be announced in the coming
months.
The event
schedule features Open Water Nationals and Junior Nationals, Speedo Winter
Juniors, three TYR Pro Swim Series events, the Toyota U.S. Open, and is
highlighted by the U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Swimming, the first swim meet to
be held in an NFL stadium. The Trials meet will select the team to represent
the United States at the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris.
Also on
the schedule for the first time in 2024 is the Club Excellence Challenge Series.
USA Swimming has partnered with three existing senior-level meets hosted by
gold and silver medal clubs to provide one last tune-up before Olympic
Trials. Prize money will be awarded by
USA Swimming to the top finisher in each event across all three meets, with a
leaderboard posted on usaswimming.org.
