The World Triathlon Weekly - Seasonal season review


 

As we hit December and the dust starts to settle on a huge 2023 on and off the blue carpet, there's time for one last look over the latest stories from around the world of swim-bike-run before the Weekly heads into the off season ready to get into shape for a brand-new look in 2024.

An Olympic and Paralympic year lies ahead, the prospect of the best in the world racing through the streets of Paris for the biggest prize getting ever closer to reality. So stay tuned for upcoming features on the latest qualification status for all those chasing their Paris 2024 dreams this month, plus you can also check in on the latest World Triathlon Podcast, this week as Marta Kropko, European Games Mixed Relay bronze medallist with Team Hungary, suddenly has a first Games firmly in her sights.

Congratulations to China's Yifan Yang, Ireland's James Edgar, Germany's Jaspar Ortfield and Austria's Lisa Perterer on their respective Asia and Africa Cup victories last weekend providing the perfect finale to their seasons as they head into the break.
