WATER POLO USA Women Advance To Quarterfinals Will Meet Canada Next



Tokyo, Japan - August 2 - The U.S. Olympic Women's Water Polo Team claimed the Group B title with a 3-1 record and now advances to the quarterfinal round at the Tokyo Olympic Games. Team USA will take on Canada at 2pm local time on August 3 (1am eastern on August 3/10pm pacific on August 2). The match will air LIVE on USA Network and stream LIVE on the NBC Sports app. The live stream can be accessed by clicking here. Match replay information will be shared as soon as it is available. This will be the third meeting for Team USA and Canada at the Olympic Games but the first since 2004. In Athens, Canada edged Team USA 6-5 in the group stage. In Sydney, the two teams tied 8-8 in the group stage. Team USA defeated Japan, China and ROC en route to claiming the top spot in Group B.
