Great news comes for canoe polo national teams. ECA's board of directors accepted the candidature and awarded the organisation of the 2021 ECA Canoe Polo European Championships to Catania, Italy.
The confirmation comes after both ECA
European and ICF World Championships have been cancelled due to the
difficulties for local organisers in these pandemic times. Initially, Burriana,
Spain, was supposed to host the 2021 ECA Canoe Polo European Championships, but
had to withdraw from the organisation, and now Catania will jump in as the
organiser of the tournament.
The proposed date of the upcoming
championships is 4 -10 October 2021.
